Direct Connect is used to establish a dedicated network connection between your local data center and a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) on the cloud. With Direct Connect, customer can use a dedicated network connection to connect their other data center, and colocation environment to VPCs to enjoy a high-performance, low-latency, and secure network. Initially this will be used only to connect existing resources of a cutomer hosted in NDC’s existing infrastructure and to common services like NID, BRIS database etc.
